CDL Truck Driver

MPI Farms is a family-owned business that is diverse and specializes in agriculture-related opportunities. We are looking for diligent, self-driven individuals who want to expand their driving skills and knowledge. The responsibilities of this position include hauling livestock, aggregate, manure, and agriculture-related equipment within 150 miles of the Amboy area. The successful candidate for this position must be professional and courteous when in contact with customers. You will work directly with our Transportation Manager.

Requirements

  • CDL Required

  • Tanker endorsement preferred but not necessary

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Efficient with trucks and trailers

  • Clean driving record

  • High School Education  or equivalent 

Responsibilities

  • Hauling livestock from site to site, loading, and unloading

  • Fueling truck daily

  • Washing out trailers at MPI's truck wash daily

  • Maintaining truck interior and exterior cleanliness

  • Performing daily equipment inspections

  • Performing light maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers

  • Assisting in maintenance of truck wash and wash room

  • Hauling liquid byproduct with tanker

  • Hauling aggregate from quarries to construction sites

  • Hauling equipment for MPI and other customers

Salary/Benefits

  • Base Salary: TBD

    • Driven by experience and skill set

  • Hire On Bonus Incentive: $5,000

    • Paid at 90 Days: $1,000

    • Paid at 180 Days: $2,000

    • Paid at 365 Days: $2,000

  • 2% Productivity Bonus: TBD

    • ​Driven by Volume

  • Discretionary Year End Bonus: TBD

    • Driven by performance and profitability

  • Annual Safety Bonus: Up to $1,000

    • No moving violations, tickets, accidents, etc.

  • New Hire Referral Program: $250/Month
